Chris Cappy founded Pilot Consulting Corporation in 1995, a firm specializing in leadership development, action learning and implementation of strategic objectives for corporations in the United States, Europe and Asia. The Pilot network has over 40 senior consultants, thought leaders and training specialists with extensive global experience. Chris has twenty-seven years of consulting and training experience in the areas of business strategy formulation, change management design and execution, executive/team coaching and leadership education.
For four years he worked with the award-winning Executive Challenge Program at Boston University’s School of Management, an innovator in experiential and action learning methodologies. For eleven years, he was a faculty member at General Electric’s Crotonville and served as lead consultant with Work Out for the GE Appliances business. Between 1995-2001, he and the Pilot team acted as the sole-source global provider for the design and implementation of IBM’s Accelerate Change Together change initiative that was staged in twenty-three countries.
Chris is a member of The Learning Network and has published articles on the topic of leading accelerated change and action learning. Current client engagements include Alacer Gold, Cisco, Kimberly-Clark, Mastercraft, Rio Tinto and Discovery Retreats. Chris has a B.S. in Production Management from Rochester Institute of Technology, Graduate of Boston University’s Management Development Program, Graduate of Columbia University’s Advanced Organizational Development Program and Numerous certifications.
