Director, Baseball Analytics, Texas Rangers
Todd Slavinsky is the Director of Baseball Analytics for the Texas Rangers, and is in his seventh season with the club. He oversees all aspects of baseball analytics, leads the development team for the organization’s proprietary information system, and consults on technology use within the department. He works with all departments in the organization to evaluate players, build predictive models, and organize information.
Slavinsky was a pitcher at the University of Minnesota-Morris, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and business management. He attended the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau scouting development program in October 2013.
Todd and his wife Lindsey have a daughter, Keelin (8), and two sons, Reed (6) and Brett (3). They reside in Carrollton.
